What is your privacy policy?
We will not sell nor share your information with anyone.

What is your return policy?
We will accept returns with prior approval(excluding custom hats, XL hats, and XXL size hats). Please contact us as we will need your credit card to credit your account. We do not keep this information on file. We want you to be completely satisfied with your Vermont Originals hat. All merchandise must be returned within 30 days of ship date. The items must be unused to receive credit. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs relating to returned merchandise, including initial delivery and return delivery where applicable.

Is ordering online secure through your website?
Yes. We use SSL encryption for our online transactions, and don’t store or keep credit card numbers on file.

Can I place an order without putting my credit card onto the website?
Yes, please contact our Internet Customer Service directly at 800-770-9533 and we can process your order over the phone.

How quickly do orders ship?
Regular hat orders normally ship within 24 hours. Custom hat orders, extra large hats and/or matching mittens ship within 7-10 days.. Team orders ship in 2-4 weeks.

How much do you charge for shipping?
We charge shipping at actual rates depending on the choice of service you request.

Do you charge a handling fee?
No.

How long will it take to have a custom logo or monogrammed hat made?
Usually about 5-7 days depending on the time of year.

What do you charge for X-Large hats? How long will it take to be made?
X-large hats will cost an additional $1.00 over the cost of our regular hats. They will take about two weeks to complete.

What is your warranty?
We take pride in the quality of our knit hats. Each hat is individually inspected. We guarantee that all of our products will be free from any manufacturers’ defects. Please refer to the care instructions for proper care and handling of your wool knit hats.

What are your care instructions?
Hand wash cold and dry flat.

What shipping agent/company do you use?
UPS. There are several options at varying prices including Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver and 3 Day Select.
